For Pangarau, I learned to divide by equal sharing and equal groups and skip counting in 1,s 2s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s, 100s.
Why does 5×3=3×5?
5×3 and 3×5 is the same because it is turned around.
This is because 5 rows of 3 is the same as 3 rows of 5. This is the commutative rule. They both equal 15.
Te maata springs.
Last week, our class went to Te Maata Springs to test the water.
First, we did a karakia called ko te pu.
Next, we went to catch some creatures like kewai and tuna.
Then, Whaea Rozy showed us the nitrate test.
I felt happy because it was fun.
My Writing Goals 2025
In term 1, my writing strengths are structure and punctuation.
My goals are to improve sentence structure and vocabulary.
I can do this by doing different types of sentences and using interesting words.

This term, we have been learning about our pepeha. One of the things we did was find information about our pepeha and made a digital version. One thing I found easy was writing it.
